Sometimes I think we can struggle to find the beauty in these cold and dark days of winter...I know I do sometimes...but here and there, especially when the sun decides to come out to say hello, there are some beautiful sights to be seen...
Spider webs with dew, like a string of jewels...
And the colours are soft and beautifully watery this time of year, very calm blues and mauves into pinks as the sun goes down...
winter bokeh as the sun disappears...
There are those beautiful shapes the bare trees have and the peacefulness brought by the open fire in our living room...all things to appreciate...
something to look forward to...
I do hope you are coping well with the winter months and keeping warm if you are in cold climes like I...Izzy sends her snoozy regards...from under several blankets ♥ I heard a story about a lady who owns 3 whippets (Izzy is part whippet)...they have their own bed...yes, a human sized bed...and they all go to sleep under a big duvet! I love how different Izzy is from any of my previous dogs, she sleeps sooo deeply that I am on occasion to be found poking her gently, checking for a pulse!
With love and best wishes from the snoozy house of blankets, hot chocolates and doing the bare minimum of everything...♥

Ruth, these are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI especially love the first one.
That truly is one very special photograph.
Beautifully done.
Happy Monday to you!
xo.
Thank you Lisa :)
DeleteI do the same thing with my Sparky when he sleeps! If he's nearby I'll gently put my hand on his chest to feel for a heartbeat and if he's across the room ill shout his name. Hubby hates when I do that. Anyway, love the beautiful pics. We have had gray, rainy days for quite some time, so this is a treat. As I type my Izzy is snuggled under 2 blankets that just came out of the dryer. :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many Izzys are under their blankets? :)
