Story...

...so, last weekend was 'let's see what else I can scan' weekend...and I found a pile of my dear Dad's old books that I've kept...I love books...and I scanned these in, made a psd, carefully cutting out the book pile, then Kim announced that this week's prompt would be the word story...perfect! I used my texture 'Voyage' for the background and Kim's 'Trust' over the top for added texture and warmth...fun ;)

  15. That quote reminds me so much of my husband's late grandfather. He told great stories, but nobody enjoyed hearing them more than him! That great humor made him so fun to be around. Love the photo of the books! Visiting today from Sweet Shot Tuesday.

  22. great quote to go with an even more great photo! i had taken some pics of my son's children's books, and i was going to use them for this week's prompt, but i could not find a quote i wanted to use... i even googled "quotes about story/stories", but this one never came up. i might have used it if it had. {i love it!} instead, i went with a completely different them. =)
