Best Of British...

Whenever I see mini's it takes me to a warm fuzzy place from my childhood, when we, a family of four, piled into our beloved old Austin Mini, with suitcases piled high on top and my knees up under my chin in the back, surrounded with provisions, off on an adventure, off on our holidays :)

Love you Dad, really missing you xxx

Where's Summertime?

Well, here in Kent, U.K today it's been very cold and wet, thundering and generally un-summer-like! I reworked a photo I took a few weeks ago (it was too wet to go out and take photo's) which captured the genral mood here today....

We lit the fire, brought in the damp washing at the end of the day, after it'd rained on it several times...and drank hot chocolate...I'm having winter flashbacks!!

I'm hoping for a sunnier day tomorrow, hope you're all having a good weekend  come rain or shine :)

Handmade greetings cards...

Hi again, I realised that I haven't included any info about what I'm doing with my photo's! For a couple of years, I've been making them into cards, each one is hand made from 100% recycled card stock and I get the photo's printed professionally too! They come in different sizes, mainly C6 and small 'mini card' size! They have different coloured envelopes depending on what suits each design. They are left blank for an individual, personal message, so they're great for any occasion!

I currently supply a few shops locally and am hoping to take them to a larger audience via the internet very soon, so watch this space for more detailed info!

I really enjoy making them, they're becoming very popular as "they're so unique!" It's also lovely to be able to use eco-friendly materials. A lot of people buy them and send them to friends and family but also they fit nicely into a 6x4" frame and make a lovely keepsake or gift!

The mini cards are popular to use as posh gift tags as well as being ideal to pop money into for children. I have one customer who sends them to Canada to a relative who's now collecting them, apparently she has them pegged along some pretty ribbon in her bedroom! How lovely!

So, if you'd like to buy some, please email me at rhwimages@gmail.com All my photographs are available as cards, so browse through the galleries, or view my photostream on flickr to see a vast array of themes! Bulk orders get a discount! More coming soon...click on the images for a better look :)

Poppy Time...

Come On Pilgrim

Pilgrims Way Walk

Hi again :)

I discovered an amazing lady in my google reader last night, Kim Klassen. Someone, like me, who loves the photoshop and the texture layering on photographs, she's very generous and gives away texture layers for you to use. Here's what I've been doing...

Finding my style...

Hi there everyone, I hope you've had a great weekend. I was lucky to experience another wonder of Nature yesterday :)  The fields were full of poppies and another one next to it ox eye daisies, stunning, and visually energising, such a blanket of red and white, loved it! Please click on the pictures to see them properly :)
