Koniks go to Scotland

One of our beloved places to visit is Wildwood Trust. We've been members for several years now and enjoy watching the wild horses that they have placed at Oare Marshes Wildlife Reserve. They've been re-introduced to the wild in several locations around the U.K with the aim to naturally manage marshlands and nature reserves in a more harmonious way.

Recently, a herd of young Koniks have been successfully placed in Scotland. 

It's a great feeling to watch them, knowing that they're permitted to be in their natural habitat in peace, they're beautiful. It's a real blessing to see a wild herd of stallions, and it taps into something primal and powerful that is seldom witnessed in more recent times...
